I have been fortunate enough to travel to many countries and in all my years abroad, one of the most powerful things that have struck me is the self-reliance ofcertain nations. I have always harboured a dream of a self-supporting Pakistan whose people fend for themselves but it does not just stop there; I want us to not just paddle our own canoe but also lend a helping hand to those in need. The first step towards materializing this dream, at least within our own community, is earning a lawful income. Allah says in the glorious Quran: ‘And made the day for livelihood.’
I strongly believe that educating children is a matter of great privilege and I feel deeply honoured to be granted this incredible opportunity. Nonetheless, I feel that this duty is accompanied by a tremendous responsibility to provide these youngsters with the best possible learning opportunities for their formative years. Knowing that our institution will influence the fundamentals upon which our students’ future learning, and even their entire lives, will depend is something we take great pride in, and we will undertake this duty with earnest passion. The role of educational institutes should be to bring about academics excellence, build character, teach unconditional respect and impart unquestionable ethics so that each individual child stands with unshakeable integrity, courage and honour. At the Education Bay School, we educate young minds considering it a sacred duty. We see it as an honour and an opportunity given to us to impart knowledge as well as instill a good value system in our students, making them confident, contended, collaborative and competent critical thinkers with a strong sense of community.
Our holistic vision is based on the understanding that the brain, the heart and the body, all play an integral role in developing a generation of balanced, grounded and conscientious young men and women with a strong faith.
I have spent nearly three decades in the field of education and was fortunate enough to gain experience from very prestigious schools, worked in different capacities and visited educational institutions all over the world. I believe in inclusive education and feel that every child is capable of exceling in whatever he is passionate about. It is our duty to help him find his passion.
I am lucky to have a dedicated and experienced team of teachers, who realize the joint responsibility we share and work with commitment to help children develop to their natural and highest potential. We strongly believe in personal development; therefore, our teaching staff regularly attends workshops and training sessions to remain abreast with the current academics requirements.
I wish our children great success in all their endeavors and want them to remember that ‘what we do for ourselves, dies with us but what we do for others remains forever’.

Striving for subsistence is in itself an act of worship. Earn with the intention to serve others and innumerable blessings will follow. I hold the following hadith in highest regard: ‘The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions.’2
Imagine each of us spending from the wealth we have with an intention to uplift our less-fortunate fellow human beings! We would be on the road to a self-reliant nation in no time at all. We are guided in the Quran: “And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction; but do good; for Allah loves those who do good.”3
This good – the act of giving - can only happen if we shed our cloak of self- centeredness and transform into principle-centered human beings who realize the potential of our country’s vast resources and harness them for their own benefit as well as the benefit of others. We need to be role models not just on personal level but on a national scale as well – a welfare model state that extends generous aids to nations irrespective of their religion or race. Let us live up to the hadith: “The hand which gives is better than one which takes.”4
History is the best teacher. Read about how successful nations and their people changed the course of entire history and gained true independence – independence from selfishness to become self-reliant nations. It begins with one person. Let us be generous, not just with money but with our intelligence as well. Let us offer our mind, body and wealth to help others grow for the collective good of all mankind.

Although there are several good schools in the city, there is still a need to improve the present educational milieu. Having gained exposure to foreign education through my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, the difference in the educational framework and teaching techniques employed abroad to those used in Pakistan became apparent. Despite being offered several appealing job offers, I returned to Pakistan after completing my Masters in Education from the University of Oxford, to serve my people and play my part in contributing to the education sector and the community as a whole.
At Education Bay, we pay special attention to the well-being of each individual child and try our best to nurture an atmosphere of love, tolerance, trust, and respect. We aim to provide a comprehensive and balanced form of education, by instilling in our students a lifelong passion to learn, explore new ideas, and continuously challenge themselves to grow in all spheres of life. We believe that environment is the third teacher, and that creating a joyful and fun-filled atmosphere fosters learning and curiosity.
We live in a constantly evolving era. This necessitates, more than ever before, a well-rounded educational framework whereby students are better equipped with the requisite skills to succeed in the future. We seek not merely to transmit information, rather to furnish our students with the ability to efficiently assimilate, process and apply their acquired knowledge. This is in line with Jean Piaget’s statement “The principle goal of education in the school should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done”. We strive to build in them confidence, grit and interpersonal skills as we prepare them to become leaders of tomorrow.
Through our specially designed framework we aim to teach our students more than just basic academics. Our goal is to instill in them ethical, moral, societal and religious values that will enable them to become responsible, open-minded, trustworthy, steadfast and compassionate human beings who will achieve immense success in this world and the Hereafter.
